Once called Mogador by European sailors and traders, this former Portuguese fishing village is a must see on any trip to Morocco.  White-washed walls and vibrant blue shutters,  wood workshops, art galleries and perhaps the best seafood in all of Morocco are enough to captivate any visitor to this medieval seaside town.
 
Your driver will transfer you from Riad Chayma Marrakech to Essaouira, where you have the option to explore the city by yourself or take in the expert knowledge of a licensed local guide.  We recommend visiting the beautiful fishing port, the Medina, Moulay El-Hassan Square, the Grand Mosque and Siaghine Alley.



On the 2 hour drive from Marrakech to Essaouira you have the opportunity to see goats climbing high up in Argan Trees, visiting a Womens Co-operative Argan Oil Workshop and a traditional Berber carpet weaving workshop.
